Why I chose to work in admissions
As a transfer and adult student myself, I understand firsthand the uncertainty and challenges of returning to school. I wanted to work in admissions to guide and support others through that process, helping them navigate the path I once found intimidating. You are capable of doing this, too!
What drew me to Georgia Southern
The Border State Waiver for in-state tuition was a major factor for me. Moving to the Savannah area, it made access to courses much more affordable and allowed me to pursue my education without the financial burden of out-of-state tuition.
One thing I wish I knew before college
There is no single, clear path to success. It's okay to take your time, pause, and start again. The most important thing is to do what makes the most sense for you and your goals.
