    High School Counselor Events

We are offering counselor visit days, local counselor breakfasts and both in-person and virtual luncheons this year. If you cannot make it to one of our in-person events, please consider joining us virtually.

    In-Person

    Local Counselor Breakfasts:

Counselors in the local Hinesville, Savannah, and Statesboro areas have the option to attend our on-campus Local Counselor Breakfasts on the campus of their choosing.

While you enjoy our famous breakfast buffet, our admissions representatives will provide updates on Freshman Admissions, Scholarships, Dual Enrollment, and all of the exciting new opportunities available to students at Georgia Southern.

The local breakfasts will begin at 9 AM and conclude around 10:30 AM. Optional campus tours are available after the event.

    In-Person Luncheons:

Counselors in the Atlanta, Augusta, and Orlando are invited to join us for a delicious lunch while learning all about Georgia Southern. Our in-person luncheons begin at 12:00 p.m. with an Admissions presentation, followed by a Q&A session.

During this presentation, our admissions representatives will provide updates on Freshman Admissions, Scholarships, and all of the exciting new opportunities available to students at Georgia Southern. Representatives from Financial Aid, Housing, and select academic departments will join us to provide updates as well.
    • Due to available space, the luncheons will be limited to the first 45 registered guests.
    • In order to finalize food orders, guests must register at least one week prior to the event.
    • Check-In begins at 11:30 AM and the sessions will conclude around 1:30 PM. Lunch will be served at noon.
