    High School Counselor Events

We're offering local counselor breakfasts and both in-person and virtual luncheons this year. Whether you can join us on campus or online, we'd love to have you at one of these events.

    In-Person

    Local Counselor Breakfasts

Counselors in the Hinesville, Savannah, and Statesboro areas are welcome to attend our on-campus Local Counselor Breakfasts, on the campus of their choosing.

While you enjoy our breakfast buffet, our admissions representatives will share updates on first-year admissions requirements, scholarships, Dual Enrollment, and the new opportunities available to students at Georgia Southern.

Local breakfasts begin at 8:30 AM and conclude around 10:00 AM. Optional campus tours are available afterward.

      In-Person Luncheons

Counselors in the Atlanta, Augusta, and Jacksonville areas are invited to join us for lunch while learning all about Georgia Southern. Our in-person luncheons begin at 12:00 PM with an admissions presentation, followed by a Q&A session.

During the presentation, admissions representatives will share updates on first-year admissions requirements, scholarships, and the new opportunities available to students at Georgia Southern. Select campus partners will join us to share updates as well.

      • Due to available space, luncheons are limited to the first 45 registered guests.
      • To finalize food orders, guests must register at least one week prior to the event.
      • Check-in begins at 11:30 AM, lunch is served at noon, and sessions conclude around 1:30 PM.

Representatives from our Honors College and the Office of Leadership and Community Engagement will also join us to share opportunities for your incoming students. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
