Statesboro Campus Pre-Flight Visits

Pre-Flight Visits are reserved for students who are registered for SOAR orientation. If you are admitted and need to register for SOAR, visit the Orientation tab of your Status Check Page. You will be able to register for a Pre-Flight Visit 24 hours after you complete SOAR registration.

Before you take flight in August, tour your new campus, review enrollment steps, and get your final questions answered! This optional visit, part of The Eagle Experience, allows committed new students and their supporters to visit in-person ahead of the fall semester. Pre-Flight Visits are an optional event, in addition to your mandatory virtual SOAR session.

What happens during a Pre-Flight Visit?
First, you’ll join us for a welcome presentation about the university to get you excited about being a Georgia Southern Eagle! Afterwards, one of our SOAR leaders will lead you on a walking tour of our beautiful campus. The walking tour will last approximately one hour. While on campus, you can also talk with Enrollment Services or Financial Aid counselors, meet with Admissions staff, get your Eagle Card, and buy some great Georgia Southern swag at the University Store. This is a great way to see campus and check off items on your enrollment checklist!
